WordPress reaches adulthood today!!
Yes today we see WordPress reach a milestone – 18 years or 6,575 days old!
WordPress now supports over 40% of the web and is the framework all of our internal and client sites are built on.
From the first WordPress release in 2003 to the plugin system being introduced in 2004 to import & export functionality introduced in 2007 to 1 billion plugin downloads in 2015, it’s fair to say WP has come a very, very long way.
Will we see it hit 50% by it’s next big milestone?
